Silly me, looking through my blog I've discovered I really haven't given you much of a glimpse into one of the most important days of my life. Well, you're in for a treat!
Our wedding was in July of 2013. We were engaged since July 4th, 2012 (yes, he proposed during the fireworks). The day was a good one, and will always be a fantastic memory that everyone involved will have. It started out with everyone from the wedding party (me, the husband fiance, my two bridesmaids and his two groomsmen) going out to breakfast at a bagel shop that's downtown in our hometown. Their bagels are delicious, okay? From there, the men and us women separated to do our own things for the day. The men had fun mini golfing and bowling, and us girls got pampered with massages and pedicures.
After lunch, it was time to get ready for our big day. I loved my hair and makeup and it surprisingly lasted all day, thankfully!
I don't remember how many people helped me get into my dress... five? haha
My first time looking in the mirror after being ready, and I immediately went into tears.
Our ceremony was outside, between a long row of beautiful trees. It was exactly what I imagined it would be.
My grandfather walked me down the isle and gave me away.
Our officiant was my Aunt, which made the ceremony even more special. We said our vows, which knowing us had a few jokes in there. And then we sealed it with a kiss.
We walked back down the isle full of butterflies and excitement, then it was off to take our pictures while the guests settled into the reception hall.
My Mom was the amazing florist for our wedding, and she also made the cake, which you can see in the Reception post!
I adore this picture so much. It wasn't a pre-planned pose whatsoever. We were walking to our photographers car to head to another location, my husband picked up my dress to help me walk around and she told us to stop and kiss. Love, love, love!
